Design Supervisor Full Time

Applications are now being accepted for an exempt level, full time position of Design Supervisor in the Development and Technical Services Department. This is an exempt position with a starting wage of: $71,053-$85,259 annually/DOQ.

Primary Responsibilities:

– The Design Supervisor supervises office and field activities of the Design and Survey Section for the proper implementation and application of District engineering standards. The incumbent applies professional engineering knowledge, and skills to the design and construction of public works projects.

Qualifications:

– The successful candidate must have a comprehensive knowledge of the principles and practices of civil engineering and surveying, as applied to the development and construction of public works projects, particularly road and bridge projects; and considerable knowledge of project planning and project management principles and practices. Prior supervisory experience is required.

– Applicants must have considerable knowledge of: Civil Engineering, surveying, construction contract and design contract administration; and Construction principles and practices.

– A Bachelor & rsquo;s degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering field is required, and an Idaho PE is required. OR any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the required knowledge, skills, abilities and experience may be acceptable.
