Role Description
Toolbox Construction is seeking a Design Drafter Intern to join our team in San Francisco, CA. This is a full on-site position offering meaningful, hands-on experience within a collaborative design-build environment. The selected candidate will be responsible for producing and modifying technical, architectural, and design drawings across active residential and commercial projects. This role offers direct exposure to all phases of the design and construction process, and the opportunity to contribute to a team that values precision, collaboration, and craft.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in technical and architectural drawing
- Experience with CAD software (AutoCAD)
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy and documentation quality
- Effective communication and collaboration skills within a project team setting
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Landscape Design, or a related field
- Familiarity with construction standards and practices is a plus
