Role Description This is a remote, part-time entry-level role for a Data Insights Analyst at CONSORCIO DE SERVICIOS MINEROS CAJAMARCA S.A.C. The Data Insights Analyst will support data-driven decision-making by collecting, cleaning, and organizing operational and business data from various sources. Responsibilities include performing basic data analysis, generating routine reports and dashboards, and summarizing findings into clear, concise insights for internal stakeholders. The role involves assisting in the development of simple data models and metrics, documenting methodologies, and helping maintain data quality and consistency. The analyst will collaborate with senior team members to understand data requirements, respond to ad hoc data requests, and continuously learn new tools and techniques to improve analysis and reporting.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities, with a demonstrated capacity to interpret quantitative information and identify patterns and trends.
• Foundational knowledge of data analytics and data modeling, including working with datasets, basic querying, and creating simple visualizations or dashboards.
• Basic understanding of statistics, such as descriptive statistics, distributions, and correlations, to support data interpretation and validation.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills to explain data findings clearly to non-technical stakeholders and document methods and results.
• Comfort with spreadsheets and data tools (e.g., Excel, Google Sheets) and interest in learning analytics platforms (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, or similar).
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage time effectively, and coordinate with a distributed team.
• Academic background in a quantitative or related field (e.g., Statistics, Data Science, Engineering, Economics, Computer Science, or similar) is preferred but not mandatory.
• Interest in the mining or industrial services sector and willingness to learn about operational data and business processes.
