Role Description The Data Entry Analyst role is a part-time, remote position focused on organizing, validating, and analyzing data related to opportunities for UPSC aspirants and professionals. On a day-to-day basis, the Data Entry Analyst will collect and enter data into structured databases or spreadsheets, verify the accuracy and completeness of information, and maintain consistent data formatting and standards. The role includes conducting basic data analysis, generating simple reports or dashboards, and identifying patterns or trends that inform program decisions. The Data Entry Analyst will collaborate virtually with the core team to update opportunity listings, support research efforts, and ensure that data is reliable, up to date, and easy to use for stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Strong Analytical Skills and foundational Data Analytics abilities to interpret datasets and derive basic insights.
• Working knowledge of Statistics and Data Modeling to support simple analyses, segmentation, and reporting.
• Clear and professional Communication skills for collaborating with team members and documenting findings.
• Proficiency with spreadsheets or data tools (e.g., Excel, Google Sheets; familiarity with SQL or BI tools is a plus).
• High attention to detail, accuracy in data entry, and ability to follow structured processes and guidelines.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage time effectively, and meet agreed deadlines.
• Prior experience or strong interest in education, competitive exams, or career guidance for UPSC aspirants is an advantage.
• Relevant academic background in data, statistics, economics, engineering, social sciences, or related fields is preferred but not mandatory.
