Here’s a day in the life:
The Customer Business Planning Manager (CBPM) supports the organization by partnering with the field sales organization to deliver the revenue portion of the Annual Operating Plan. This person will leverage a variety of sources such as category trends, shipment data, sales and marketing plans as well as statistical baseline forecasts from Exceedra to guide discussions with RSM to drive fact-based decision making on adjustments to the annual plan and forecast. In addition, the CBPM works collaboratively across Sales, Category Growth, Consumer & Market Insights, and Finance, to continually improve the customer-facing selling tools and materials and to deliver on the organization’s key revenue objectives.
The CBPM will also have key inputs into the annual sales planning process including trade strategy performance, new item planning, distribution plan implementation and regional considerations throughout the year. The CBPM will also serve as a key partner for the field sales organization in the development of the tools and processes needed to deliver sustainable, profitable category growth for our customers.
