Human Resources Manager needed for a large dental office with 20+ staff. No dental experience needed as this position deals with the employees of the practice and not patients. Knowledge of employment issues is required but additionally important is coordinating all staff to work together as a team.
It’s our belief the practice’s success comes from each staff person operating at positions that best compliment their strengths. The HR manager needs to consider the needs of the employees along with the company’s goals to create an awesome culture.

Detailed Description of Duties:
—Gets staff working as a team—
Works out systems with staff
Coordinates departments for smooth flow
Adherence to culture
Manages employee issues
Handles performance issues of staff individually and by department.
Coaches staff for improved intra-office communication
Build team chemistry
—Customer/Staff interactions—
Evaluating phone calls for staff training
Observe consultations for patient clarity of descriptions
Monitor checkouts for clear explanation of treatment plans and fees
Training all staff on verbiage, technique, flow.
Handles customer service issues

Run ads
Interviews
Works with placement agencies
Onboarding staff
Training manuals
Setting up employee file
—Payroll processing—
Payroll Data collection
Tracks absenteeism, time issues
Handle benefits and track PTO and vacation issues
Enter payroll data and run paychecks
Works with Edward Jones on 401(k) plan
Works with insurance agent on health insurance issues

Work directly with CEDR (an employer compliance company for labor law compliance)
Handbook maintenance
Employee files
Keep employee permits, licenses, CE up-to-date
