Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Creative Producer located in the New York City Metropolitan Area. The Creative Producer will oversee the development and execution of Pufferfish projects, spanning from marketing stunts and campaigns to content series production. The role touches all aspects of the content-making process, from ideating and script-writing to shoot coordination and editing. We’re looking for people who think and operate like content creators; you start with a vision and then can identify exactly what needs to get done for it to come to life. A combination of professional skills (strong communication and project management experience) and new media faculties (trend forecasting and rapid deliverable turnarounds) is the winning formula for this role.

Qualifications

• Proven track record writing, producing, and/or editing viral content for social platforms
• Strong communication and time-management skills: you understand that unconventional new media still needs age-old processes and professional habits to function at peak potential
• Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities – you relentlessly look for new solutions and ways to level up even beyond what is more than good enough
• Proficiency with relevant tools and software, including video editing programs like Adobe Premiere, After Effects, CapCut, and platform native editing features
• Knowledge of marketing principles and psychology is a plus
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field, such as Media, Film, Marketing, or Communications is a plus
• Experience working in a fast-paced, collaborative, and creative environment
