Creative Marketing and Brand Designer Full Time NEW

A growing brand strategy, design and marketing firm in West Chester, PA, seeks a creative designer to provide outstanding design, marketing, branding and advertising for interactive, print and packaging work.

We work for refined craftsmen and demonstrate those traits within our efforts, so bring good energy and a drive to shape great design within a team dynamic.

The ideal candidate will know Adobe Creative Suite inside out / upside down with a portfolio that demonstrates discernment for concept, color, typography and composition. You understand marketing and branding concepts and how to speak to different audiences visually. You have the drive to want to create great design through illustration, font execution and front-end web design. 

Our company is part of a 100+ person larger company, so we operate as an in-house agency while managing our own customer base. Our team is in the midst of designing a new space for ourselves and our parent company, a very exciting time. 

Primary responsibilities include:

• Build a brand from the ground floor, crafting new logos, icons, font standards, graphic standards, mood boards and all elements of great design.
• Develop design directions and execution of production for digital and print graphics
• Work collaboratively within a team environment to develop and deliver design projects.
• Support the creative team to complete high-quality projects on time and within budget.
• We are a small team. You will have a chance to meet and work in a supervised setting directly with clients. Your positive energy and clear communication skills are key.

Specific skills required and/or desired:

• A degree in Graphic Design (or comparable) from accredited design school
• Two to five years of design experience; cross-media
• Strong design and illustration capabilities with the ability to work in a team environment
• Strong working knowledge of design software such as Adobe Creative Suite
• UI/UX Tools: Prior experience using Figma, Adobe XD, or similar prototyping tools.
• General Software: proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) & MacOS.
• Digital and video skills is a plus (HTML5/CSS/Dreamweaver/Premier/AfterEffects)
• Ability to continuously assist in improving UX and Ui process.
• Desired/Plus: Familiarity with WordPress, Shopify, Constant Contact and other Marketing Platforms. 

Education:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design a must.

Physical Demands: Employee is required to walk; stand; sit; use hands and fingers to manipulate objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms to operate a computer and other office equipment, and occasionally lift/move up to 25 lbs. Minimal need to balance, stoop, bend, kneel or climb.

Work Environment: This position is located in an office setting. Noise intensity level: quiet to low. Employees may occasionally need to enter manufacturing plants, printing facilities or customer environments to help manage photography efforts.
