Under the direction of the senior HR leadership, execute HR initiatives and functions, such as associate relations, talent assessment and performance management, for designated businesses, partnering with and supporting assigned leadership teams in order to drive sustained operational and service excellence.
Primary Responsibilities:
Partner with the human resources and business leadership teams to provide strategic and tactical HR support, ensuring alignment with supply chain and corporate direction, strategic initiatives and human resources best practices. (e.g., talent recruitment, development and training; associate engagement; succession planning; performance management; legal/regulatory compliance; compensation, safety and benefit policies and practices).
Educate, support and follow up with business leadership team regarding execution of human resources policies, processes and initiatives, and handling associate relations issues.
Execute associate relations investigations, including associate/leadership interviews, documentation and follow up, supporting the administration of appropriate outcome as needed.
Provide day-to-day performance management guidance to leadership on all appropriate matters, and facilitate escalation, as needed.
Provide HR operational support to leadership, as needed with human resources-related functions (e.g., unemployment hearings, negative background checks, accommodations, leave of absence coordination, etc.)
Consistently administer human resources policies and procedures for all associates, with attention to confidentiality, timeliness, privacy and fairness.
Proactively recommend and assess strategic talent and organizational development initiatives that address the evolving needs of the business. Partner with the leadership team regarding associate and management development needs, identifying and facilitating activities to improve skills, encourage career development and build bench strength.

Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) a plus

Experience Required:
5-7 years progressive human resources experience
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
Professional in Human Resources certification preferred (E.g: PHR, SHRM-CP)
Proficient with Microsoft office products, Excel, Word, PowerPoint; Gmail and Google Suite
