CPChem is seeking a Project Management Office Manager within our Strategic Execution and Enablement Office (SEE Office) who will be responsible for defining, maintaining, and implementing project management standards for non-construction projects across the organization. Non-construction projects largely include standardization and implementation of new technology, business processes, and culture-related global initiatives that are business-led and impact multiple Business Units (BUs). The PMO will be the source of documentation, guidance, and metrics on the practice of project management and execution.
This position will also be responsible for ongoing support and coaching to CPChem assigned Project Managers to drive successful execution of projects across the organization, oversight and execution of project management training, and sourcing project management resources through third parties.
At times, this role may be requested to directly lead major projects as a Senior Level Project Manager. This will require working with cross-functional teams from across BUs for planning, organizing, and directing the completion of specific projects and initiatives to ensure they are delivered on time, on budget, and stay within the agreed upon scope.
