Short Description
Application Support Responsibilities
Provide first tier technical support for all applications in both the hospital and ambulatory settings
Provide accurate professional advice and support throughout in relation to the support of all applications.
Demonstrated ability to work with Physicians to support the technical roll out of applications.
Work independently and able to independently and successfully troubleshoot and resolve technical application problems.
Demonstrated ability to grasp basic concepts of the applications in order to support go-lives.
Demonstrated ability to participate in testing activities by running test scripts and documenting results during installation and upgrade activities.
Ability to act as an effective liaison between the end user and the Application analysts.
Provide expertise and coordinate implementation of desktop related tasks primarily in the ambulatory settings

Network Support Responsibilities
Provide first tier network design, installation, testing, and engineering tasks for all existing and planned ambulatory locations.
Performs facility surveys including the layout and location of network components, equipment, cabling, and wiring for all planned ambulatory locations.
Manage assigned projects to deliver services in accordance with established objectives.
Maintains records of work completed and in-progress; and updates network documentation to record installations, upgrades, and configuration changes for all ambulatory locations.
Assists the Network Engineering team with designing, configuring, implementing, and enhancing the organizations local and wide area networks including wireless, and voice networks.
Provides assistance with the maintenance and resolution of end user reported network and telephony issues.
Assist in ensuring the delivery of quality support and network services and that customer expectations are achieved or exceeded.
Work independently to identify and successfully troubleshoot network performance issues at ambulatory locations
Assist in the resolution of all assigned tickets across the entire enterprise.
Core Responsibilities
Follow established change management procedures.
Possesses a strong customer service focus with the demonstrated ability to effectively interact with diverse end-users and IT staff.
Willing to assume on-call responsibilities as and when needed.
Experience Required
Minimum 2 years’ hospital based IT experience or 2 years clinical experience.
Minimum 2 years’ network support experience and the ability to practically apply the principles and practices used in the design, configuration, installation, testing, and maintenance of local and wide area networks
Proficiency in Microsoft Visio required.
Education Requirements
Associates degree or equivalent experience required. Bachelor’s degree preferred
Special Requirements
Scheduled Days / Hours: M – F, 8:00AM to 5PM, remote
