Short Description
Cooper University Health Care is hiring an HR professional who is eager to help Cooper enrich the day-to-day experience of our Team Members which has made Cooper a “Best Places to Work” in the South Jersey region. The Engagement and Recognition Specialist will support activities across the year that recognize our Team Members for their outstanding work and commitment to the Cooper mission – to serve, to heal, to educate.
As a member of the broader Organizational Effectiveness and Learning team, this role will create and coordinate organization-wide employee rewards, recognition and engagement programs and events, and help enhance workplace culture in ways that will be visible and impactful to all –beginning with new employees through to retirement.
Coordinate Team Member rewards and recognition programming for individuals, teams, and the organization which may include: nomination-based recognitions, celebratory events, service awards and retirements, engagement interventions, and recognition strategies used in onboarding, DEI, professional development, management training, and more.
Manage the Cooper Rewards online platform and interact with vendor to ensure performance, marketing, and medallion budgets are optimized; access reports/data for decision making, troubleshooting, and communicating program metrics
Plan and coordinate all recognition events using strong attention to detail and project management savvy (timeline, costs, resources); and collaborate with internal stakeholders and vendors for all event planning and execution.
Facilitate Rewards Committee Member meetings, and expand engagement and participation of committee; leverage committee and teams of volunteers from across Cooper when additional people resources are required.
Be the point person for all coordination efforts relating to annual and holiday gifts and mailers; monitor and organize program supplies and physical inventory.
Collaborate with Internal Communications and Marketing for the distribution of organization-wide communications; enhance visibility of programs, events, and award recipients using multi-channel communications delivery.
Facilitate New Employee Orientation as a shared team responsibility and welcome newly hired Team Members at onboarding events to create a positive and educational experience; expand awareness of resources for new hires.
Support Cooper’s quarterly and annual Engagement Survey process, perform data management and analysis, and help drive engagement activities associated with survey results.
Education Requirements
Bachelors Degree Required. Human Resource Management, Business; Media and Communications;Pyschology, or related field.
