OBJECTIVE: The primary goal of this position is to work with the VP Sales and Marketing on all sales related duties and assure that all necessary administrative assignments are completed in a timely manner. Confidentiality in this position is critical.
QUALIFICATIONS: This position requires an associate degree in sales or related business field, or a minimum 3 years of experience in a sales related position.
SKILLS REQUIRED: This position requires excellent written and verbal skills as well as strong customer service skills. Sales experience or willingness to do some sales is preferred. Proficiency at math is required. Must have computer experience with a high working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Power Point, and Access). This person must have excellent organizational skills, be detail oriented, and be able to work cooperatively in a small office setting. Knowledge of other office equipment is a plus.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Coordinate and attend all sales meetings, publish minutes, and action plans.
- Develop, maintain, and publish weekly updates and sales reports utilizing graphics to communicate trending sales and market activity.
- Prepare professional quality pricing schedules and proposals for sales accounts.
- Publish internal pricing schedules for the sales team, maintain timeliness.
- Publish weekly sales activity reports to VP Sales.
- Prepare a sales report for monthly Leadership meetings.
- Communicate and measure sales progress towards business plan activities.
- Communicate weekly sales promotion reports to VW scheduling team.
- Assemble order history and analyze trends/patterns for key customers.
- Active buyer communication to understand upcoming needs, goal to reduce order fluctuations in cooked meats.
- Suggest SKU inventory levels of cooked meats.
- Coordinate and organize customer visits to Cooper Farms and communicate to those appropriate and our staff.
- Promote the Cooper Culture through trainings and personal demonstration.
- Maintain an active interest in performance level, attendance, and attitude.
- Follow all safety practices and protocols.
- Perform all duties as apparent or assigned.
