Contracts / DMV ClerkPerry Auto Group – San Luis Obispo
Perry Auto Group is looking for an experienced Contracts / DMV Clerk to join our growing team. We are seeking a detail-oriented, organized, and dependable individual with dealership administrative experience who can help ensure accurate processing of vehicle deals and DMV paperwork for our Central California stores.
Responsibilities
- Process vehicle contracts and ensure all paperwork is complete and compliant
- Submit and process DMV paperwork in a timely and accurate manner
- Verify deal documentation for accuracy and completeness
- Process title and registration paperwork
- Handle funding packets and maintain organized deal files
- Work closely with sales, finance, accounting, and management teams
- Maintain compliance with dealership and state requirements
- Assist with inventory and record management as needed
- Communicate with customers, lenders, and DMV offices regarding documentation issues
Qualifications
- Previous automotive dealership experience required
- Previous contracts and/or DMV processing experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of CDK, Dealertrack, RouteOne, or similar dealership systems is a plus
- Professional attitude and strong work ethic
