We are currently looking to fill the position of Quality Assurance Coordinator in the Columbus, Ohio Area.

Job Duties include:

· Support and backup the Lab Director, including lab analytical and product approval.

· Substitute SQF Practitioner, PCQI, Food Defense Coordinator, and HACCP Coordinator.

· Assist with audits and regulatory visits.

· Conducts monthly GMP inspections of the facility.

· Maintains Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) database.

· Create Certificates of Analysis (COAs) for finished products.

· Work with members of team on any non-conformances, deviations, and corrective actions.

· Assist with customer requests and needs.

· Assist with customer complaints, root causes, and corrective actions.

· Follow up and communicate with appropriate management and staff regarding mistakes, concerns, and observations about food safety and personnel safety.

· Assist production with inventory, as needed.

Stay current on training and certification requirements.

· Some Travel involved

Qualifications include:

· Bachelor’s degree in a food-related discipline such as food science, microbiology, chemistry, or other relevant discipline.

· 5 years’ experience preferred in food manufacturing.

· Proficient in the use of MS Office, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

· Ability to work independently, self-starter, energetic.

· Capability to work through others to achieve desired results.

· Demonstrate strategic planning skills with successful execution.

· Cultivates positive relationships with co-workers, customers and suppliers

· Works collaboratively cross-functionally to ensure continued improvement of products that meet or exceed company requirements.

· Ability to communicate effectively in challenging situations.

· Ability to develop and facilitate training and educational sessions with staff.

Pay: $65,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year
