Confidential Hiring for Production Graphic Designer Full Time

GimaSport is a full service embroidery, direct-to-garment and screen printing company locally owned and operated. We’ve proudly provided our customers with high quality products and friendly service for almost 3 decades.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Working with and sometimes as a Project Manager and Production Manager to assist in determining wants and needs of clients
• Plan, design, create for efficient embroidery and Screen Printing production
• Retouch and edit existing digitized and vectorized files to improve quality and productivity as necessary
• Digitize electronic images suitable for the embroidery on specified apparel/fabric, as per instructions provided Production Manager.
• Knowledge of embroidery files: DST, EMB, U01
• Create sew-outs from digitized files to help learn and determine the adjustments needed for production files.
• Set up of multi-head embroidery machinery for operation
• Operate multi-head embroidery machine to embroider business logos, initials, or decorative designs on products/garments
• Prepress for Screen Printing. Setting up art prep for burning screens.

Qualifications and Skills

• Have a four-year degree in Graphic Design is required
• Demonstrated knowledge of Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
• Knowledge of embroidery digitizing software and equipment
• Ability to maintain a structured production schedule
• Highly motivated and energetic
