We’re looking for a Compliance Specialist to support regulatory research, internal organization, and early operational structure. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys clarity, research, and helping build a responsible foundation for a financial product.

The Compliance Specialist will help gather publicly available regulatory information, summarize requirements, and organize internal documents that support early product decisions. You’ll assist with understanding industry expectations, reviewing competitor practices, and preparing simple internal notes that guide how features should be built. This role does not require prior compliance experience. What matters most is strong research ability, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn.

Regulatory research includes reviewing publicly available SEC, FINRA, and industry guidelines and summarizing key points in clear, simple language.

Competitor analysis involves studying how similar apps structure disclosures, onboarding flows, and compliance language. Internal documentation includes preparing summaries, notes, and reference sheets that help guide product decisions. Operational organization means keeping research, documents, and internal information structured and easy to navigate. Feature review support includes identifying which features may require additional compliance considerations and noting potential risks.

General administrative support covers small tasks that help maintain clarity and structure as the company grows.

Strong research ability helps with gathering accurate information and summarizing it clearly.

Attention to detail ensures accuracy in notes, summaries, and organizational work. Interest in fintech or compliance is helpful for understanding the context of the work. Clear communication supports alignment on tasks and expectations.
