Job Details

Responsibilities
Ensures business activities and operations follow applicable policies, procedures and/or regulatory requirements
Companywide Complaint Management
Provides summaries of investigations
Determines appropriate course of action based on investigation findings
Maintains and establishes internal controls related to Reputational Risk, Liquidity Risk, Counterparty Risk, Operational Risk, and Credit Risk
Knowledge of Mortgage Compliance (TRID, CRA, HMDA, BSA, AML, OFAC, Fair lending Mortgage servicing, etc.)
Assist Compliance Auditing with Fraud Audits, Lender Self-reporting, and Legal demands

Required Experience:
3+ years of Mortgage Banking experience
A comprehensive understanding of mortgage loan documentation.
Re-verify information provided including but not limited to employment, income, down payment deposit, residency, etc.
Effectively calculate assets, income, and liabilities submitted in a loan application.
Loan processing or Quality Control auditing of FHA, VA, and Conventional loans.
Must be able to comprehend and apply underwriting guidelines on various loan programs.
Experience with Consumer Regularity Complaints and Lender reporting requirements is a must
Bachelor’s Degree; Real estate, Accounting, Business, Statistics, Information Systems, Finance, Economics, or related field.

Skills:
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and follow-through skills.
Excellent analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work with limited supervision.
Technologically proficient in MS Windows software.
Strong verbal and written communication skills
