General Description:

This position will report directly to the Secure Serve Operations Manager and be a part of the Secure Serve team. The goal of this position is to properly program all Secure Serve security systems. The SSV Programmer will from time to time need to travel to job sites to address any programming issues that arise that are not addressable remotely and/or assist technicians during install.

Programming responsibilities to include but not limited to:

• Properly configure cameras to best visibility of shots
• Remote system setup
• Effectively configure and setup the artificial intelligence (AI) technology contained within the security system
• Assist technicians during installation for system setup
• Provide assistance with setup of wired and wireless network technology
• Coordinate and establish any cell service
• Work with monitoring central station to setup and establish monitoring service

Additional requirements but not limited to:

• Train customer on use of system, its functionality and the use of any applicable app
• Ensure proper handoff to monitoring services tech and/or manager
• Stay current on any new product being installed that requires programming or configuring
• Remain current on any software patches or updates
• Ensure customer timely receives all field retrofit software patches or updates
• Making adjustments to initial programming or configuration as needed on an ongoing basis
• Gain understanding of functionality and feasibility of products to be offered to customers
• Maintain strong communication skills
• Evaluate and improve internal tools used to capture and track programming metrics
• Obtain certifications as needed
• Maintain strong interpersonal skills
• Support and serve the Secure Serve team
• Maintain strong organizational skills
• Respond quickly to CoLiant personnel and customer requests
• Be able to effectively produce necessary documentation for and to various organizations within CoLiant as needed.
• Be able to manage multiple on going tasks/work flows.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least two years related experience required.

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $55,000.00 per year
