We are currently accepting applications for a motivated Project Manager / Estimator who will be located in our Cherokee, IA office. We are looking for someone who would be willing to quickly move into an Executive Position with a potential to earn a percentage of his or her success.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:
Perform accurate project revenue and cost financial forecasting to ensure company profitability goals are met.
Review of specs/plans, take-offs, determining scope of work, and communicating the same.
Lead estimating efforts on projects to ensure accurate and consistent bid to build process.
Coordinate efforts with Chief Operations Officer, and Superintendents to manage resources to meet project schedule.
Participate in bid review and bid closing to ensure accuracy of bid and evaluate project feasibility; work with Chief Operations Officer to develop bid schedule.
Coordinate with Superintendent and project team to develop comprehensive plan for project start up and successful kick-off.
Comprehension of Purchase Order and Subcontract Agreement language with ability to negotiate terms with vendors is a plus.
Establish and maintain working relationships with owners, agencies, subcontractors, company management, inspectors, etc., providing customer service to develop long-term partnerships with client base.
Ensure accurate construction s for the job allowing for continuous improvement in performance.
Manage and submit shop drawings and job communication.
Run projects at profitability levels to meet or exceed estimated margins.
Comply, understand, and support company safety initiatives to ensure a safe work environment.
This Position Requires:
Education: Industry-related college degree is preferred; however, an equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
Technology: Familiarity with computers and most general software, Proficient in all (MS Office) programs, scheduling and estimating software, (MS Project & Bluebeam).
Skills: Solid leadership and client relations are required. Conflict resolution, analytical capacities and extensive construction knowledge are critical. Knowledge of relevant legislation and industry practices should round out your skill set.
Experience: At least ten (10) years’ of construction experience is preferred, including five (5) years of project management experience. Candidate should have a proven history of leading, developing and mentoring successfully.
