What You’ll Do
- Safely operate vacuum trucks and related equipment
- Collect and transport both liquid and solid waste, including industrial by-products and sewage
- Conduct daily inspections and perform routine maintenance on vehicles
- Ensure waste is disposed of properly and in compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations
- Maintain professional conduct working with customers, fellow peers and the motoring public
- Maintain accurate records of waste collected, maintain driver electronic logs, and necessary documentation as required
- Other duties as assigned
- *May require occasional overtime, weekends or holiday shifts as dictated by business needs
What we’re looking for
- Valid Class-B
- High school diploma or GED and at least 1 year of Class A tanker driving experience
- Willingness and ability to work overnight shifts
- Clean driving record (no more than 2 moving violations in 3 years, 1 at-fault accident in 5 years)
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
- Must physically qualify and obtain a Medical Examiners Certificate
- Physical capability to lift 50+ pounds, bend, squat, and work in various weather conditions
- Strong communication and customer service skills
