Job Summary
Join our dynamic team as a CDL-A OTR Recovery Tow Truck Driver, where you’ll play a vital role in providing vehicle recovery services across extensive routes. This energetic position offers the chance to work independently while ensuring the safe and efficient transport of vehicles, including heavy-duty trucks and equipment. Recovering equipment (tractors – trailers) across 48 states.

Duties

• Operate heavy-duty tow trucks, including flatbed and recovery units, to assist with vehicle recoveries across long-distance routes
• Load, unload, and secure vehicles using appropriate equipment such as winches, forklifts, or other lifting devices
• Perform routine inspections of tow trucks and recovery equipment to ensure safety and operational readiness
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues related to commercial vehicles and perform basic automotive repairs or coordinate repairs with mechanics

Experience

• Valid CDL-A license with a clean driving record and experience operating commercial tow trucks, including flatbeds and recovery units
• Hands-on experience with tow truck operation, load & unload procedures, and vehicle securing methods
• Experience working independently over long distances on OTR (Over-the-Road) routes is highly desirable
• Ability to operate additional machinery such as forklifts or similar lifting equipment is a plus
• – Minimum of 2 years of experience as a commercial driver.
