Job Overview
We are hiring experienced Hot Liquid Asphalt Tanker Drivers for routes in the Mt Pleasant, Houston, Austin, San Antonio, and Dallas areas. This is a 1099 contractor position for professional drivers with strong tanker experience and a safety-first mindset.
⚠Minimum Requirements (Please do not apply if you do not meet these)
- Valid CDL (Class A required)
- Minimum 3 years tanker experience (REQUIRED)
- Must be able to drive manual transmission
- Clean MVR
- Clean background
- Hazmat & Tanker endorsements required
- Ability to work flexible hours (including nights and weekends)
Owner Operators:
- Truck must be 6 years old or newer
- Equipment must meet DOT inspection standards
Responsibilities
- Safely operate hot liquid asphalt tanker trucks
- Load and unload tanker materials safely
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Follow DOT regulations and traffic laws
- Maintain accurate logs and delivery records
- Communicate with dispatch and customers professionally
- Ensure on-time deliveries
Preferred Experience
- 3+ years of commercial driving experience
- Tractor-trailer experience
- Route driving experience
- Strong knowledge of safety compliance
Work Schedule
- Flexible schedule
- Weekend and night work is required
