CARDIOLOGY PHYSICIAN job at Ronceverte, West Virginia, United States of America Full Time NEW

Opportunity:

Physician – Cardiology 60 shifts

Job Details:

  • 6-month contract starting June 1st, 2026
  • Clinic hours Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
  • 24/7 call coverage with 4-5 consults per day and 1-2 after-hour calls per day
  • Full clinic days see 20-25 patients; partial clinic days with testing supervision include 4-6 tests in morning and 12-15 patients in afternoon
  • Patient population primarily 50+ years of age
  • Perform evaluation and management of new and established patients
  • Conduct cardiac risk assessments and electrocardiograms (EKGs)
  • Place Holter monitors and manage pacemaker check clinic
  • Supervise echocardiograms, treadmill stress tests, and nuclear stress testing
  • Perform transesophageal echocardiograms (TEE) and cardioversions
  • Patient rounding and consultations required
  • Must be certified to perform and read nuclear medicine stress tests, exercise stress tests, EKGs, echoes, and TEE
  • Board certification required with BLS, ACLS, and TEE certifications
  • EMR system: Cerner

    This is a 122-bed community hospital featuring a general cardiology department with comprehensive cardiac services. The facility provides full-service cardiac care with modern equipment and dedicated support staff including medical assistants and registered nurses. The cardiology department offers a complete range of diagnostic and therapeutic cardiac services to serve the regional patient population.
