A3 Technology is seeking a Mid-level Business Analyst to support the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) National Airspace System (NAS) Lifecycle Planning (NLP) Division. This position requires the successful candidate to work with the FAA budget formulation and planning lead on annual budget formulation and execution activities, including budget oversight, status reporting, and assisting in the evaluation and potential impacts of OMB directives and guidance. Additionally, this position is also responsible for the development of processes, templates, and general management products in support of multiple activities. Responsibilities Support cost and schedule oversight and performance progress on all activities related to NextGen. Provide analysis and coordination of OMB 300 reports with the CPIC Program Office. Develop briefings, track actions, facilitate, participate, and support meetings related to OMB 300 activities. Develop and maintain processes and standard operating procedures that document the approaches to executing specific tasks and activities. Work closely with NextGen executives and managers to maintain an awareness of program status and milestones to communicate appropriate information to stakeholders. Assist in the development, review, and maintenance of outreach materials as assigned by NextGen leadership. Assist with status reporting and preparation of various briefings on NextGen efforts. Conduct research, evaluations, analyses, and studies. Present recommendationssolutions to meet short and long-term project program planning requirements. Skills Required Ability to communicate well both orally and in writing, clearly, concisely, and with technical accuracy. Proficient with MS Windows, MS Office applications and software. ship or documented proof of eligibility to work in the US is required. Applicants selected will be subject to a Government investigation and must meet eligibility requirements to obtain Government clearance. Skills Preferred Prior work experience with the FAA or in the aviation industry. Experience with OMB Exhibit 300 Business Case reporting highly desired. Experience with the FAA capital budget formulation process including the Capital Investment Plan, white sheets and resource planning documents. Education Bachelorrsquos Degree in business administration, computer science, information systems, mathematics, statistics, or operations research and 6-10 years relevant experience OR Master’s Degree in related field and 3-7 years relevant experience.
