Overview

The Graphic Designer I will creates innovative, high-quality design and video that is aligned with the Burlington’s brand standards and contributes to the team’s creative excellence. An effective problem-solver, video editor and conceptual thinker. He/she will develop compelling creative solutions that achieve marketing objectives. The Graphic Designer II takes ownership of all assigned projects, working closely with the VP, CD, Graphic Designer III, and production department to ensure that all timelines are met, and creative feedbacks are incorporated to projects.

Responsibilities:

• Partner with CD and creative team to conceptualize and develop strategic creative solutions for cross-channel marketing campaigns with a focus on videos, adapting creative techniques to suit the requirements of each media channel.
• Ensure that all deliverables adhere to Burlington’s brand guidelines and translate into integrated, visually compelling solutions for digital, video, email, social and in-store, while employing graphic and interactive design best practices.
• Independently manage multiple projects simultaneously, adhering to timelines of assigned projects.
• Collaborate with partners in Designs, Copy and Marketing teams on creative strategies that solve business objectives and elevate the brand voice.
• Present work to Creative Manager and Directors, persuasively communicating design concept & strategy to gain support.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design
• 1-3 years of proven design with emphasis on video, social and content creation. Retail a plus.
• Effective problem solver who seeks out solutions and responds to feedback/art direction
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Exceptional collaboration skills
• Detailed-oriented, great organizational and time management skills
• Expertise in video editing, content creation and print processes.
• Knowledge of digital platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest etc.)
• Expertise in Adobe creative suite. Proficient in video editing, HTLM 5 and more
• Story boarding experience a plus

Physical Requirements:

• Individuals may need to sit or stand as needed. May require walking primarily on a level surface for periodic periods through out the day. Reaching above shoulder heights, below the waist or lifting as required to file documents or store materials throughout the workday. Proper lifting techniques required. May include lifting up to 25 pounds for files, computer printouts on occasion.
• The performance of this position may occasionally require exposure to the manufacturing areas where under certain areas require the use of personal protective equipment such as safety glasses with side shields and mandatory hearing protection. Primary environment: ambient room temperatures, lighting and traditional office equipment as found in a typical office environment.
