Boeing Ukraine is currently looking for Payloads Design Engineer to join their team in Kyiv, Ukraine.

On this position you will be responsible for supporting Payloads Design Modification projects. You will support modification services of the Boeing 7-series for the various customers.

Responsibilities include (but not limited to):
Assists to develop, integrate and document structural and interior payload system requirements to establish the system design.

Develops, maintains and modifies basic structural and interior payload system and component designs, using 3-D Computer Aided Design tools and/or other design methods, to provide product definition to other engineering groups, production operations, suppliers and external customers throughout the product lifecycle.

Performs tests to validate and verify systems and components meet requirements and specifications.

Assists with supplier development, test and production activities and coordination with the supplier to optimize the design and achieve program goals.

Supports investigation of emerging technologies to develop concepts for future product designs to meet projected requirements.

Works under general supervision.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Master degree in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry.

English intermediate.

MS Office – advanced user.

2 years of work experience as payloads design engineer.

Existing rights to work in Ukraine.

Preferred Qualifications:
3+ years of work experience as payloads design engineer.

English upper-intermediate.

Deep understanding of corporate quality processes and tools.

Have general knowledge of aircraft passenger systems and airframe structure.

Skills to use basic technical knowledge and principles for analysis and design of structure components and payloads system.

Knowledge of engineering fundamentals, normative documentation for design of aircraft structure components and payloads system.

Knowledge of the main principles of data preparation and documenting used for aircraft production/modification (drawings, part-lists, tables and database) basing on company and industry standards, as well as using computer and manual technologies.

Skills for qualified development of architecture and design of payloads systems.

Candidates must be able to plan and organize their time to work productively and efficiently while being able to adjust to multiple demands.

This position requires strong communication, teamwork, initiative, integrity and attention to details.

Typical Education/Experience:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD, Master+3 years’ related work experience).

This position does not offer relocation. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.
