As part of a diverse and hardworking team of Manufacturing Engineers, you will be responsible for supporting laser welding fabrication processes for our BE-4 and BE-3U rocket engines. You will translate engineering intent, drawings, and configurations into consistent manufacturing processes which focus on quality and repeatability. You will work to qualify new processes as well as implement continuous improvements to the weld area. You will work closely with production operators, quality technicians, and engineering counterparts to support welding processes for tight tolerance and complex rocket engine components (i.e. thrust chambers, injectors, turbo pumps, etc). A firm understanding of weld processes, materials, lasers, and robots is required. This position will directly impact the history of space exploration and will require your dedicated commitment and detailed attention towards safe and repeatable human spaceflight.
