PERMANENT FULL TIME POSITION, EMPLOYER IMMEDIATE HIRE

Surgical practice in Chevy Chase, MD is in need of a Patient Accounts Representative. The office is located within steps of the Friendship Hts. Metro. Parking is plentiful.

The Patient Accounts Representative is responsible for maintaining the accounts receivable for three physicians.

Requirements of the Patient Accounts Representative:

• High school education
• Two or more year’s of medical billing experience
• Two or more year’s of insurance follow up experience

Responsibilities of the Patient Accounts Representative include:

• Receives all EOB s,appeals incorrectly paid or denied claims
• Reviews all claims over 45 days for timely payment and/or follow up.
• Reviews Aged Accounts Receivable Report
• Identifies delinquent accounts and processes delinquent unpaid accounts by contacting patients.
• Responds to patient phone calls regarding insurance or payment problems and issues.

Pay: $21.00 – $24.00 per hour
