Leasing Agent (Laurel)

Bay Property Management Group of Laurel is seeking a leasing agent to join our growing team. This individual will be responsible for the marketing, showing, and leasing of an assigned portfolio of apartments and single-family homes managed by BMG. These units are spread throughout Prince George’s County and the surrounding Counties. This is a commission-only, sales-focused role with immense flexibility in schedule and location. Leasing agents use their own vehicle to travel between properties for showings and inspections and can work from anywhere in the area. This position is well-suited for individuals who are disciplined, sales-motivated, and interested in learning the real estate market.

Applicants must have:

• Excellent Customer Service skills2.

• Availability on evenings and weekends

• Ability to multi-task and work efficiently

• Proficient at Microsoft office

• Reliable transportation

• Clean background and drug free

• Cell phone and laptop

• Prior leasing/real estate experience preferred

• STRONGLY prefer someone living in Laurel or central to all 4 counties!

Duties include:

• Showing vacant and tenant occupied properties

• Posting all property marketing to Craigslist

• Generating leases via DocuSign

• Arranging move in times/dates with new tenants

• Completing move in walk through/inspection with new tenants

• Effectively communicating with property owners and providing timely updates

Benefits and Salary

The Leasing Agent position is commission-only; $800 per lease. BMG offers 401K, employee-paid health insurance: medical, dental, vision

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $60,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year
