JOB SUMMARY: The right candidate will have two-years of automotive dealership and one-year of accounting experience. The day-to-day duties of this role include ensuring all transaction documentation is accurate, complete and processed in a timely manner. This position works closely with the service, parts and finance staff to collect all required transaction information. This position reports directly to the General Manager.

RESPONSIBILITIES
· Oversee the financial and accounting system by reviewing ledgers, schedules and statements coordinating with the Dealer Principal.
· Coding payables and reconditioning invoices for posting
· Perform accounts payable runs on the 10th.
· Reconcile manufacturer and credit card statements
· Reconcile and post daily merchant deposits
· Warranty payments and cancelation submittals weekly
· Manage weekly and monthly schedules
· Perform payroll prep & upload
· Reconcile daily banking
· Perform flooring reconciliations
· Back up for HR tasks
· Work closely with department managers
· Design, establish, and maintain an organizational structure and staffing
· Meet and work with the Management Team to prepare monthly budgets and financial goals to increase profitability
· Assist in Preparing monthly financial statements and transmit to manufacturers on a timely basis
· Prepare all monthly, quarterly and annual tax returns and file with the state and government by applicable due dates
· Work with the CPA to ensure all accounts are reconciled for the preparation of Corporate tax returns
· Ensure all human resources and payroll functions are operational
REQUIREMENTS
· 2 years of previous automotive office manager or 1 year as automotive controller
· Strong communications, customer service, leadership and organizational skills
· Excellent analytical ability
· One year of account experience is required.
· Highly organized and eagerness to improve
· Ability to handle multiple tasks easily
· Willingness to take intiative
· Ability to provide quality customer service
· Proficiency with automotive software and Microsoft Office applications or the equivalent
· Clean driving record & valid driver’s license
· CPA and Automotive experience have priority
· High School Diploma or equivalent
· Credit check will be required
