M-F Business Details Analyzes highly complex business requirements, designs and writes technical specifications to design or redesign complex computer platforms and applications and develops related technical documentation thrives in teams highly inclusive and collaborative with proven ability to collaborate through influence vs. authority Key responsibilities include Serve as liaison to internal and external stakeholders associated with the project team, and consultants regarding project documentation, action item tracking, functional design documentation, business process and data analysis and review coordination of various project documents Works closely with business partners in interpreting business requirements to support and derive the application technical requirements Communicate and coordinate weekly project status and review outputs with appropriate parties Ensure that project issues raised by stakeholders are duly tracked Maintain sufficient, adequate evidence to support conclusions on the existence of action item closure Keep a tracking action list of all project actions, status, context for issues and provide information updates and reporting to relevant stakeholders to enable informed decision making Required Qualifications 7+ years of business analysis experience 5+ years of SQL experience Ability to work effectively in virtual environment where key team members and partners are in various time zones and locations 5+ years of financial services industry experience 3+ years of experience documenting user stories in JIRA or similar tools Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills. Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills Ability to articulate complex concepts in a clear manner Ability to analyze and produce complex workflow documents and present them to relevant stakeholders Ability to interact with integrity and a high level of professionalism with all levels of team members and management Strong collaboration and partnering skills Strong attention to detail and accuracy skills Ability to work effectively in a team environment and across all organizational levels, where flexibility, collaboration, and adaptability are important Strong analytical skills with ability to draw conclusions and translate findings Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, achieve goals, and work under pressure in a dynamic and complex environment Advanced Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint) and Visio skills BS degree or higher in computer science, engineering, math, or similar information technology discipline.
