Full Job Description
Summary of Duties & Responsibilities:
Responsible to perform all duties in a safe and compliant manner to AnalytiChem and accrediting body standards. Complete tasks and analyses in an accurate and timely manner. Effectively communicate within and outside the company.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Receive, log into LIMS, and report client samples.
- Complete Asbestos, Radon, and Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) analyses independently in an accurate and timely manner.
- Perform all duties within each department in accordance to company’s established laboratory quality and safety guidelines as well as with corresponding certifying body standards.
- Follow laboratory quality control procedures and proficiency testing.
- Perform and aid with preventative maintenance and repair of laboratory equipment.
- Assist with department material and equipment purchases.
- Assist in reviewing and revising of Standard Operating Procedures, Quality Manuals, and other controlled documents.
- Assist in the development of new analytical methods or management system procedures as needed.
- Serve as a technical resource to the company, department members, and clientele.
- Perform additional duties as required.
Physical Demands:
- Able to sit or stand for long periods of time.
- Ability to lift 30 lbs. to chest height.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education: Licensed NRSB Radon Measurement Specialist and ME Asbestos Bulk Analyst as well as the completion of the Indoor Air Quality training program.
Experience: 1 year or more of related lab experience within the company.
Other: Ability to communicate effectively with clients and co-workers. Strong math and computer skills. Ability to travel to off-site locations and participate in early or late shifts as needed.
Pay: $19.00 – $21.00 per hour
