Artis Senior Living of Reading Hiring for Area Director of Sales / Marketing Full Time

***The Area Director of Marketing will oversee 2 communities, ASL of Reading and ASL of Lexington.***

The Director of Marketing will drive the sales efforts to achieve and exceed community performance goals, while continuously maximizing occupancy. Internal sales efforts will include touring the community with prospective residents and their families, performing regular follow up, and coordinating move-ins. The DOM is responsible for external sales efforts to include developing and implementing an effective marketing plan that supports market diversification through the identification of niche referral opportunities.

The Director of Marketing will:

• Lead sales and marketing team to achieving sales goals by modeling The Artis Way.
• Employ strategies that focus on building stronger, deeper and more trusted relationships, by invoking empathy and providing a more customized, relevant and creative experience for prospective families.
• Follow-up with current leads and develop new resources for obtaining leads.
• Analyze occupancy trends, market/competition trends and length of sales cycle to determine the necessary sales activities in order to achieve full occupancy.
• Perform regular competitor analysis and tour competitor communities.
• Coordinate, plan and efficiently execute marketing events to reach sales targets.
• Actively participate in team member training and development efforts.
• Complete weekly and monthly s as requested, minding accuracy and observing deadlines.
• Partner closely with community department leaders to represent the Artis Senior Living product and services across all sales channels.

Education Requirements:

• Must possess high school diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ years of demonstrated sales experience in senior living or healthcare is required.
• Participate in continuing education credits as required by company.
