SLP is seeking a dynamic Sales Director. As the Area Director of Patient Services (Sales/Marketing), you will develop a strong working relationship with attending physicians, hospital case managers and discharge planners via outside sales calls, conversations, education and follow-up. Your efforts should result in meeting your minimum admission expectations for your centers by increasing referrals, admissions and our referral base.

You will assist our center in the Beaumont area and 39+ additional skilled nursing centers throughout Texas, provide onsite assessments, assist with admission decisions, and provide patient follow-up in target hospitals, as well as look for niche marketing opportunities. You will also assist to develop and host internal/external marketing events.

Qualifications:

• Previous health care sales experience preferred.
• Sales and community relations experience preferred.
• Excellent presentation skills.
• Organizational skills required.
• Knowledge of reimbursement programs from payor sources preferred.
• Must have proven skills in working independently; self-motivated, self-directed, goal-directed, and goal oriented.
• Formal sales training preferred.
• Must relate professionally to other employees at all levels of SLP.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in written format.
• Ability to establish and maintain working relationships with multiple and various people and organizations externally.
