Responsibilities Partners with business line to address business and technology needs andor deficiencies involving process, products or technology Build strong relationships with internal partners (such as Core Technology, Risk, Strategy, Product Management, Reporting and Analytics) Designs and optimizes use cases and technical solutions to complete to meet business and application needs. Perform complex application configuration and maintenance to support business as usual application needs, and performs QC of more junior staff. Subject matter expert on systems in order to assist with application upgrades and ehancements Support business line by investigating operations-related problemsinquiries and recommend, facilitate and implement solutions Lead vendor management activities with assigned vendors for the applications owned supported including, but not limited to upgrades, enhancements, implementations, customer impacts, vendor oversight and management Lead efforts for new product and application releases and enhancements, working with Delivery and line of business Support teams Provides third level of support for day to day application and product issues Provides artifacts and documentation requested by internal risk and audit teams. Leads departmental QA efforts Qualifications Bacheloraposs degree or equivalent experience in relevant field required (e.g. Finance, Business, Accounting, MIS) 5+ years of experience with application and product support preferred. BA, PMP, or process improvement certifications preferred Ability to troubleshoot complex technical problems, engaging appropriate teams as necessary required Excellent customer service skills and ability to build and maintain relationships with internal partners required Highly organized and detail-oriented self-starter with the ability to cross-train team members required Strong sense of urgency and ownership when resolving application and product issues required Outstanding organizational and effective time management skills required Superior problem-solving, analytical and critical thinking skills required Ability to function as second and third level support for multiple cross-functional applications required Ability to develop and establish positive working relationships across the organization Previous Banking Financial Services experience preferred
