You can be part of a growing area at Andersen Corporation at our North Branch, MN Fibrex Extrusion plant. We are hiring Production Associates to manufacture window and door lineals out of Andersen’s innovative Fibrex material. Get paid to learn a new skill and start your career at Andersen!

Growth Opportunities: You will begin your Andersen career as an Extrusion Associate, learning the basics of Fibrex Extrusion. As an associate, you’ll assist the Operator with daily tasks while continuing your learning and training to become an Operator yourself. Once an Extruder Operator, you can further your skills to become a Senior Extruder Operator. We also have positions in Maintenance, Quality, Supply Chain, Warehouse, and Leadership.

Salary: $17.50-$19.25/hr. All employees working nights get an additional 9% pay difference for working nights. In addition, you’ll receive double-time for working Sundays if you have worked over 40 hours that week.

North Branch Shift Hours: This position works straight days (6AM-6PM) or nights (6PM – 6AM). You will work 3 consecutive days then have 3 consecutive days off. Three weeks you will work 36 hours and then three weeks you will work 48 hours. Each crew works 3 consecutive weekends, then has 3 consecutive weekends off. Over the course of one year, you’ll work up to 80 days less than a normal 5-day work week.

Primary Responsibilities:
· Adhere to all safety rules and policies.
· Visually inspect lineals for conformity to specifications.
· Interpret smart scope, Promex, and bow machine results for dimensional conformity.
· Use all Quality appearance station forms and gauges to adhere to Quality Standards.
· Follow daily standard work.
· Stack profiles according to standard work.
· Properly wrap loads.
· Order raw materials.
· Adhere to line schedule.
· Complete production paperwork.
· Support respectful workplace.

Secondary Responsibilities
· Participate in appropriate training and development programs

During 2022, each eligible Andersen employee will receive $1,000 for each full fiscal quarter they are actively employed and fully vaccinated against COVID-19. An eligible employee hired during a quarter will receive a prorated payment based on the number of days employed during the quarter. Those eligible include fully-vaccinated regular full-time and part-time employees (at least 20 hours per week) who are not subject to a collective bargaining agreement. These and other terms and conditions of Andersen’s 2022 Profit Sharing Plan, including the definition of full vaccination against COVID-19, are subject to change or termination without notice.
