ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepare international shipping documents
• Blind shipments from overseas vendors to overseas customers
• Control all imports, customs clearance, final delivery
• Prepare Letter of Credit Presentations
• Prepare cash against Docs Presentation
• Be able to properly assign HS Codes
• Contract Negotiation with all freight vendors and review/approve all freight invoices
• Obtain truck, air, & ocean rates
• Track and monitor shipments in transit
• Prepare Commercial Invoices, Packing list, COO, COC, SLI’s
• Troubleshoot issues with shipping software and anything that prevents something from shipping
• Obtain insurance certificates for customers EPI and COI’s
• Optimize transportation shipments for our clients while balancing service and cost
• Maintain relationships established with carriers to ensure capacity and monitor service standards
• Communicate effectively with clients, customers, carriers, and teammates
• Process large batch shipments using WorldShip or Ship Manager

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Knowledge of HS Codes, Incoterms
• Preferred knowledge of international commerce sales and payment terms, customs regulations, and international supply chain

processes; detail-oriented; negotiating skills; effective communication skills; able to handle multiple tasks

DAYS/HOURS:
8AM-4:30PM Monday-Friday, with some potential overtime

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00 – $55,000.00 per year

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift

• Saint Charles, MO 63304: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:
