Job Summary:

The Developer will need strong front-end (JacaScript) and back-end (LAMP-Linux/Apache/MySQL/PHP experience. The role centers around replacing a legacy system with a modern in-house replacement. There is tremendous opportunity to learn new skills and make an impact as we develop a new business system from scratch. This high visibility opportunity is part of a an IT team of 3 people in a growing company of 124 employees.

Requirements:

• Candidate must have 3+ years of both strong front-end (JavaScript) and back-end (LAMP – Linux/Apache/MySQL/PHP) experience
• The role centers around replacing a legacy system with a modern in-house written replacement
• Initially, part of the job will involve figuring out how various parts of the legacy system currently function
• Another initial part of the job will be meeting with users to see how the new system should work going forward
• The front-end will be built using Sencha’s ExtJS Javascript Framework
• The back-end will be built using PHP 8 and MariaDB
• 3rd party system integration may also need to be written for CRM or ERP vendors that we decide to work with.
• This role will be primarily remote, but will still require some visits to the office to meet with users in person.
• Good people skills and communication skills are a must.
• This is a high visibility position. The ideal candidate will be comfortable as the sole architect of many projects.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $95,000.00 – $105,000.00 per year
