Founded in 1947, The American Association for Respiratory Care (AARC) is the nation’s oldest and largest professional association dedicated to respiratory therapists and healthcare providers involved in cardiopulmonary medicine. Our mission is to advance professional excellence and science in the practice of respiratory therapy serving the profession, patients, caregivers, and the public worldwide.
Reporting to the Vice President of Marketing and Communications, the Director of Digital & Social Media Marketing manages the development coordination, and implementation of integrated marketing campaigns across digital channels, keeping AARC at the forefront of members and external audiences, driving to our website and increasing engagement and conversions. This position also collects data, reports on key metrics and content performance, analyzes the success of marketing efforts against KPIs, thinks strategically and focuses on process improvements.
Your role as Director of Digital & Social Media Marketing will require the ability to visualize, architect and deploy content campaigns within a digital ecosystem, and demonstrable experience leading and managing SEO/SEM, including organic and paid social media, and web optimization. The successful candidate will possess strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking and solid knowledge of best practices and emerging trends in digital marketing and social media in a mission-driven, association or professional membership organization.
