This company is a midsize civil engineering consulting firm based in Lexington, KY. This group employs approximately 24 individuals and service clients that focus on water and waste water treatment plants and transportation planning and engineering. This group is evenly split between work funded by the state, local municipalities, and private development.
This administrative assistant will be responsible for answering a multi line phone system, routing all calls to the appropriate personnel, creating documents via Microsoft Office Suite, and for helping organize the five partners within the company. This individual will have 1+ year of providing customer service and must be reliable. This individual really needs to have a great attitude with the willingness to do anything asked of him/her.
This position is open because of growth within the company.
1) Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suites.
2) Must have experience with multi-line phone system.
3) Must be looking for things to keep the office running efficiently during slower times.
Report to office by 8 AM, leave by 5 PM. May be helping any one of the five partners within the firms, answer phone lines, assemble proposals that are leaving the office, creating documents. Will be evaluated on the willingness to complete any tasks as directed, reliability, and ability to communicate within the company and with clients.
