Ace Hardware Hiring for Traffic Coordinator II Job at West Jefferson, OH Full Time

Responsibilities:
Help Prepare and review paperwork for drivers daily deliveries

Assist in preparing daily reports for Traffic department

Comdata Report

Freight Recap report

Driver daily mileage report

Assist in preparing and returning paperwork for Tractor Lease companies used for IFTA reporting

Assist in selecting and scheduling back haul opportunities for ACE Fleet on a daily basis

Assist in communicating retailer delivery expectations when necessary

Track and log common carrier arrivals into RSC for traffic assigned deliveries. Communicate pertinent information to Common Carrier drivers on arrival to RSC to expedite loading

Perform general customer service responsibilities for traffic department by helping answer incoming phone calls and answering or directing inquires to the appropriate person

Other responsibilities as assigned by Traffic Department Leadership

The successful candidate will demonstrate the following attributes…

Proactive self-starter who maintains a high level of integrity, is highly motivated, energetic and demonstrates a very strong work ethic

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Keen ability for details and follow through to completion to deliver high levels of customer satisfaction

Ability to multitask and prioritize in a quick paced environment

Excellent computer skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Internet and freight load boards

Communicate operational issues to management and make recommendations when necessary

Work directly with customers and drivers to arrange freight shipments, schedule transportation, resolve service issues, and secure profitable loads

Monitor and review service reports daily to ensure on-time delivery

Successful candidate should have a high school diploma or GED. Previous office experience preferred. 2 to 4 years of transportation and Tractor/trailer experience would be a plus.
