Key Responsibilities

• Process high volume invoices accurately and timely
• Process employee expense reports in accordance with company policy
• Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and vendor inquiries
• Collaborate cross functionally with internal teams to ensure accurate and timely processing of invoices and payments
• Maintain and track prepayments, ensure accurate application and reconciliation
• Reconcile vendor statements and investigate variances
• Process payments via ACH, wire, credit card and Bill.com
• Manage and process credit card payments, including coding and reconciliation of transactions
• Maintain organized records and provide supporting documentation for audits
• Support month end and year end close activities related to accounts payable
• Support investor related processes, including preparing documentation and assisting with cash distributions to investors
• Monitor aging and help ensure timely payments and strong vendor relationships
• Identify process improvements and help streamline AP workflows

Analytical & Project-Based Responsibilities

• Perform analysis on spend trends, vendor activity, and payment cycles
• Assist with cash flow planning by providing insights into AP timing and obligations
• Support ad hoc financial analysis and reporting as needed
• Take initiative to investigate discrepancies, identify root causes, and propose solutions

Qualifications & Experience

• 2-3 years of experience in AP in consumer goods industry
• Experience in the fashion industry strongly preferred
• Strong communications skills
• Attention to detail and strong data entry skills
• Strong knowledge of Excel, QuickBooks, Bill.com

Location: This role is remote and open to candidates based outside of NYC. For those in the NYC area, occasional in-person attendance for key meetings and team collaboration may be requested.

Salary: $65,000 – $70,000 BOE
