Job Description
SUMMARY:
The Packing Operator II
is responsible for ensuring that packaging activities are running efficiently and safely within the established quality and packaging standards, through troubleshooting and operator level maintenance of machinery.
Will maintain an efficient flow on the line at expected rate while maintaining quality product, reporting any problems to the shift Line Lead, Coordinator, and/or Shift Supervisor in a timely fashion. Will ensure that policies and work instructions are being followed. The incumbent must possess a good mechanical aptitude.

May require overtime.
Must understand people and be able to communicate effectively with them. Must be able to perform simple math calculations. Must be able to solve problems, handle conflict, and make effective decisions under pressure.

QUALIFICATIONS:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
Good communications skills in interacting with team members.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required. A minimum of three months related work experience and/or training preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Documented maintenance training and/or experience a plus.
JOB PREREQUISITES:
Ability to meet attendance standards. All full-time employees are required to work a 40-hr week. At times it may be necessary to work additional hours in order to get the required tasks accomplished to meet deadlines
