Real Estate Analyst – Paid Intern Full Time NEW

Job Description

Eight West is seeking a Real Estate Analyst in its New York City office. Eight West is an affiliate of The Hakimian Organization, a real estate developer with over 50 years of development experience.

The Analyst will work directly under senior management.

Responsibilities

The Analyst will have the following duties and responsibilities, including but not limited to:

• Assist in sourcing new investment opportunities 

• Assist in creating and analyzing Excel models to underwrite new investment opportunities 

• Perform due diligence process for potential investments 

• Assist in preparing investment packages for the investment committee and investors 

• Research key real estate fundamentals to formulate key assumptions and investment strategies 

• Arrange site visits and formal meetings with brokers, sellers, and investors 

• Tour new acquisition opportunities and competitive properties 

• Research demographic data and pricing trends in target markets to track revenue, expense, and valuation assumptions 

• Learn under the guidance of senior management 

Knowledge / Skills / Abilities

• Strong interest in real estate 

• Undergraduate and/or Postgraduate degree in Real Estate and/or Finance preferred 

• Previous basic underwriting / Excel modeling experience

• Excellent research and communication skills 

• Self-motivated, organized, eager to learn, and a team player

• Proficient in using leading AI-tools in an analytical setting is a plus 

Compensation

$17.50 per hour
