Job Description
The Minor League Physical Performance Coach plays a critical role in optimizing player availability, durability, and performance in one of the most demanding environments in professional sports—high altitude baseball. This position is responsible for delivering and evolving the Colorado Rockies’ Physical Performance program at the Major League level, with a strong emphasis on strength & conditioning, recovery, nutrition, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
In addition to hands-on coaching, this role serves as a leader within the broader performance ecosystem, providing guidance to Minor League performance staff. The ideal candidate is a high-energy, detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced, relationship-driven environment and is passionate about helping athletes perform at their best, day in and day out.
This position will be based in Scottsdale, AZ, during Spring Training and Hartford, CT, during the regular season, with travel required throughout the season.

WORK SCHEDULE
This position requires a high level of flexibility and availability consistent with the demands of a Minor League Baseball season, including extended hours, travel, and non-traditional schedules, within a dynamic, performance-driven environment where schedules are fluid, and flexibility is essential to supporting player health, readiness, and competitive success. Consistent, punctual, and reliable attendance is a key requirement of this role.

Annual Salary: $78,000 – $82,000, meal money, travel reimbursement, and spring training living stipend included
