Spira AI builds AI Influencers—autonomous agents that run social media accounts end-to-end, operating seamlessly 24/7. These AI-powered agents do more than assist; they act as virtual employees, capable of catching trends, creating content, and managing publications across platforms. Spira is redefining how businesses engage with social media audiences, not as users of tools but as pioneers of innovation. The team includes alumni from leading companies such as Creatify AI, TikTok, CapCut, Meta, Snapchat, and MidJourney, bringing deep expertise in AI and social media.
The Role
This is a Founding Visual Designer role. You own the visual identity of Spira — across product, brand, and everything in between. And you build the **design system** that holds it all together.
You are the person who makes sure that when someone lands on tryspira.ai, opens the Web Console, sees a Spira social card, reads a pitch deck — they feel the same brand. Not “looks similar” — feels like one company that takes itself seriously.
This is not a “make screens pretty” role. It’s a **system-builder + aesthetic owner** role. You define the language, then enforce it everywhere.
What you’ll own
**Visual language**
– Typography system (type scale, font pairings, hierarchy rules)
– Color system (palette, accent strategy, dark mode parity, semantic tokens)
– Iconography (style, weight, sizing rules)
– Illustration / 3D / gradient style (the *Spira look*)
– Motion language (transitions, easing curves, micro-interaction patterns)
**Brand expression**
– Landing page visual direction (tryspira.ai)
– Marketing assets (launch campaigns, social cards, blog headers, ads)
– Pitch decks and investor materials
– Brand templates (decks, docs, letterheads, emails)
**Design system**
– Figma library: tokens, components, variants — production-grade, not “design-only”
– Documentation that engineers actually use
– Parity between Figma and code (work with engineers to keep them in sync)
– Versioning, deprecation, governance
Experience
– **3+ years** of visual / brand / product visual design experience
– **Has shipped a design system** (built from scratch or significantly extended an existing one)
– **Portfolio shows range**: product UI + brand identity + marketing + motion. Not just one slice.
– **Bonus**: previously worked at a craft-heavy SaaS company (Linear, Vercel, Stripe, Figma, Raycast, Arc, Notion, Framer, Loops, Mercury, etc.)
Tools
**Must:**
– **Figma** — expert level (Variables, Tokens, Library management, Auto Layout mastery)
