AutoCAD Draftsperson Full Time NEW

We are seeking an AutoCAD Draftsperson to join our Design team. In this role you will be responsible to produce drawings in accordance with project requirements under the supervision of senior designers.

Responsibilities

• Reporting to senior designer
• Drafting of building systems and components
• Coordinating with the engineering team and other design teams
• Transferring hand marked sketches of design drawings to AutoCAD
• Maintaining and improving visual and functional standards of CAD drawings and final product
• Performing load calculations using engineering software
• Using Microsoft Excel to assist in various engineering calculations
• Assisting designers in various design duties
• Supporting the engineering team’s analysis, evaluations, designs, and implementation

Qualifications And Skills Required

• Engineering Technologist diploma/degree or equivalent
• High level of proficiency in MS Office and AutoCAD; REVIT considered an asset
• Ability to work both independently with little supervision and in a team environment
• Attention to detail
• Strong problem-solving skills and initiative
• Commitment to ongoing professional growth
