Role Description

This is a dynamic, contract-based remote role for an Executive Assistant to Founder & PR/Social Media Coordinator. This person will serve as a right hand to the founder while also supporting client PR campaigns and managing social media efforts.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, and creative, someone who can manage details, anticipate needs, and execute across multiple areas of the business. This role offers a clear path for growth into a Publicist position over time.

Key Responsibilities

Executive & Operational Support

• Manage calendar, scheduling, and meeting coordination
• Help prioritize daily, weekly, and long-term tasks
• Track action items and ensure consistent follow-through
• Assist with inbox management, drafting responses, and internal communication
• Maintain organized systems, files, and workflows across the business

PR & Client Support

• Assist in executing PR campaigns for authors, personalities, and organizations
• Build and maintain media lists and databases
• Draft pitch emails, press materials, and briefing documents
• Track media outreach, placements, and coverage
• Coordinate interviews, podcast bookings, and media appearances
• Prepare client reports and weekly updates

Social Media Management

• Manage and schedule content across Instagram, LinkedIn, and Facebook for two|pr and clients
• Create graphics and visual content using Canva
• Write engaging, on-brand captions tailored to a faith-based and family-focused audience
• Plan and execute content calendars aligned with PR campaigns and launches
• Monitor engagement and track performance metrics, providing insights for growth

Growth Opportunity

This role is designed to grow into a Publicist position. Over time, responsibilities may expand to include:

• Leading media outreach independently
• Owning client relationships
• Strategizing and pitching full campaigns
• Securing top-tier media placements

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in executive assistance, PR, communications, marketing, or related field
• Proven ability to manage scheduling, priorities, and administrative workflows
• Strong communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with clients, media, and team members
• Experience managing social media platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook)
• Proficiency in Canva (or similar design tools)
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a remote environment
• High level of discretion, professionalism, and follow-through
• Self-starter with a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset
• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, PR, or related field preferred
• Experience in entertainment, media, or public relations is a plus
