TheFutureSociety LLC is a fast-growing digital media and membership company operating across three brands: The Tarot Ship (YouTube, 288k+ subscribers), Great Awakener (premium livestream membership platform), and MAX (AI-powered astrology platform, currently in beta). We are a revenue-generating startup approaching our first anniversary, with strong subscriber growth and multiple product launches planned throughout 2026.

Director of Operations

We are seeking a highly organized, execution-oriented Director of Operations to lead and scale operations across memberships, content, product launches, automations, and team coordination. This is a hands-on leadership role — you’ll work directly with the Founder to build systems, improve workflows, and keep the company moving efficiently across multiple product lines.

The ideal candidate combines operational discipline with startup adaptability, moving fluidly between strategic planning and day-to-day execution. Success means creating clarity, accountability, and operational momentum.

This role operates with a high degree of autonomy — you’ll own the organization end-to-end, with Founder involvement limited to strategic approvals.

What You’ll Own

• Operations & Reporting — Build and improve operational systems, workflows, and reporting processes. Lead weekly planning and accountability, and deliver concise operational and financial summaries.
• Campaigns & Revenue — Coordinate lifecycle campaigns (launches, win-backs, promotions), oversee subscription operations in Stripe, and support automation across Stripe, Kit, Make.com, and related tools.
• Team & Contractors — Manage a distributed remote team, support hiring and onboarding, establish timelines and accountability structures, and coordinate contractor payments.
• Product & Tech — Coordinate operational delivery for MAX, Great Awakener, and The Tarot Ship, support sprint coordination, QA, and launch readiness alongside developers and technical partners.
• Content & Vendor Ops — Oversee content publishing workflows and schedules; coordinate vendor, legal, accounting, and administrative relationships.

Requirements

Must Have:

• 5+ years of operations experience in a startup, creator business, subscription company, or fast-moving digital environment
• Experience with Stripe subscriptions, billing operations, or membership businesses
• Experience coordinating remote teams, contractors, and cross-functional workflows
• Familiarity with email marketing platforms (Kit, Mailchimp, or similar) and automation tools (Make.com, n8n, or similar)
• Comfort using AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, etc.) to improve productivity and operations
• Strong written communication, organizational skills, and high ownership mindset

Nice to Have:

• Experience with creator-led businesses, media brands, or digital membership platforms
• Familiarity with Supabase, Vercel, GitHub, ClickUp, Slack, Zendesk, or similar tools
• Interest in the creator economy, spirituality, astrology, or digital communities

Compensation & Details

• Salary: $100K–$112K + Quarterly Performance Bonus
• Benefits: Health insurance, flexible PTO, 10 paid holidays
